Peak-A-Boo Hats

Another little hat pattern for you all. This one has a bit of a gap at the front, so that little preemie faces can be seen, but should be long enough to keep itself on and warm little ears and necks. I used 8ply and 5mm hook and it took about 35 yards.

Round 1: Work 12 tr (Ch3 11tr) into magic ring, join with slip stitch, pull tight (12)
Round 2: Chain 3, work tr into same stitch. 2tr into each other stitch around, join with slip stitch (24)
Round 3: Ch3, work tr into same stitch, tr into next stitch *2tr, tr* around. join with slip stitch (36)
Round 4: Ch3, work round even with tr, join with slip stitch (36)
Round 5: Ch3, work tr into next 26 stitches (27)
Round 6: Ch3, turn, work tr into back loops of next 26 stitches (27)
Round 7: Ch3, turn, work tr into next 26 stitches (27)
Round 8: Ch3, turn, work tr into back loops of next 26 stitches (27)
Finish off and weave in ends.

Oh, and if anyone was wondering, this pattern is what I used for the other hats in the last post.

Love,
Nevelyn
